Tramway T6 – Driver training

New Tramway T6 on tires (Translohr system) – Montrouge – Vélizy – Viroflay (South-West of Paris). It will be opened on December 2014. On the video it is the driver training phase.
The video was recorded on April 11, 2014 at Avenue Morane-Saulnier, Vélizy-Villacoublay (Yvelines, France).

Well… difficult to compare the noise of the two tramway systems. Translohr, there is no noise from the wheels but its noise comes from the engine.

The background sounds might be falsifying -but to me it sounds (comparing with your tram videos) , that Translohr ist a bit louder?!
