Funimag Photoblog was created in 2004 as the blog for the funicular magazine, Funimag.
For years, you could find all the latest news about these inclined railways here.
Then, with the advent of social media, funicular news was moved to Twitter and now to X, and the blog spent a few years inactive.

In 2025, I decided to update the Funimag Photoblog site, focusing on in-depth articles that will be created over time.
First, by republishing historical articles published since 1996 and also, of course, with new articles.

The old news published on the blog has been preserved, and you can find it in the Archives section.

In short, the new Funimag Photoblog is primarily about in-depth articles about funiculars. Funicular news continues to be published on social media platforms like X (e.g., Twitter) and BlueSky.

Puis avec l’arrivée des réseaux sociaux l’actualité des funiculaires a été reportée sur Twitter puis maintenant sur X et le blog a vécu quelques années de repos.

En 2025 j’ai décidé de remettre au goût du jour le site Funimag Photobog en privilégiant les articles de fond qui seront créés au fil du temps.

D’abord en y republiant les articles historiques qui ont été publiés depuis 1996 et aussi, bien sûr, avec de nouveaux articles.

Les anciennes actualités qui ont été publiées dans le blog ont été conservées et vous pouvez les retrouver dans la rubrique Archives.

En résumé, le nouveau Funimag Photoblog c’est d’abord des articles de fond sur les funiculaires.

L’actualité des funiculaires reste publiée sur les réseaux sociaux X (ex Twitter) et aussi BlueSky.
