Difficult … ? May be… but in 2014 this place will be very famous… there will be the most spectacular funicular in Switzerland… may be in the world!

La réponse au Quiz #39: il s’agit de l’emplacement exact de la gare de départ du futur funiculaire de Stoos, à Schlattli, dans le canton de Schwytz en Suisse.
La gare sera située à la place du groupe d’arbres sur la droite de la photo juste au dessus du lac. Un pont franchira le lac juste au centre de la photo avant d’attaquer la falaise qui se trouve à gauche en dehors de la photo.
The answer to Quiz # 39: This is the exact location of the departure station of the future funicular Stoos, at Schlattli, in the canton of Schwytz in Switzerland.
The station will be located in place of the group of trees on the right of the picture just above the lake. A bridge will cross the lake right in the center of the photo before climbing the cliff to the left outside the picture.

Ça ressemble au massif du Jura, d’un côté ou de l’autre de la frontière. Je dirais plutôt Suisse mais juste au feeling.
Pourquoi la photo, j’ai remarqué une sorte de tranchée dans les arbres sur la montagne au fond, mais comme la question porte sur le lac je pense que ça n’a rien à voir! -

The rock formation in the background looks a bit like the rock-walls of St. Hilaire Touvet. Maybe the same ridge, lower parts?

Yes of course it is an artificial lake with a dam in the background of the photo… but there is no funicular in this dam and this is not the reason why I put that photo in Funimag… -
It looks like a reservoir. Maybe a power stations funicular?
