As I know this bridge is an engineers plan completely. It is compareable to the bridge of the Hoadl- funicular west of Innsbruck. But as impressive the bridge looks from underneath, as “invisible” the construction is when seen from aside. It just emerges as a strong trace when seen from the opposite of the Inn valley.
I suppose the bridge was constructed in this way in oder to minimize possible optical disturbation of Zaha Hadid´s buildings in the upper section of the line.
PS.: the drilling works in the collapsed part of the tunnel have already started again!
Un panorama vertigineux… je ne peux pas attendre de voir les bâtiments de Zaha Hadid!
