Exceptional ! The Stanserhorn-Bahn in 1972

Here are some exceptional photos from the Stanserhorn-Bahn in 1972… that is only 2 years after the 1970 big fire at the hotel on top of the Stanserhorn and the final disuse of the sections 2 and 3 of the funicular. These high quality old photos were taken by Jean-Henri Manara, I only did some improvements to suppress the defaults of the scanning. These photos are exceptional because photos of the Stanserhorn-Bahn on the sections 2 or 3 it is very rare!

Voici quelques photos exceptionnelles du Stanserhorn-Bahn prises en 1972, soit deux ans avant l’incendie de l’hôtel en haut du Stanserhorn et l’abandon définitif des sections funiculaires 2 et 3. Ces photos sont d’excellentes qualité, elles ont été prises par Jean-Henri Manara. Je les ai juste un peu améliorées pour supprimer les défauts de la numérisation. Elles sont exceptionnelles car des photos du Stanserhorn-Bahn sur les sections 2 ou 3… c’est très rare!

Le funiculaire de Nendaz
Hier, mardi 7 février 2012, a été inauguré un funiculaire dans le centre de Nendaz dans le Valais.
Il relie, gratuitement, la Plaine des Ecluses au télécabine du Tracouet et a été cofinancé par la commune de Nendaz et par le Complexe Mer de Glace
Le funiculaire a été construit par Inauen-Schätti AG. Il est constitué de deux ascenseurs inclinés indépendants, chacun pouvant transporter 12 passagers sur une distance de 55 mètres avec un dénivelé de 37 mètres et une vitesse de 2 mètres / seconde.
