Piazza Cahen, the upper station.

A cabin arriving at the lower station.

Note the horizontal floor of the cabin and that kind of 'skirt' (ugly!). The new funicular has kept the same shape of cabin as the first funicular, but the first one had a water-ballast technology that means that the water was located under the cabin.

The entrance of the tunnel under the rampart of the city.

Piazza Cahen, the upper station. The control office with videos and computers.
