Harderbahn – nouvelles voitures!
Today, March 13rd, 2008, two new cars were delivered to the Harderbahn in Interlaken (Switzerland).
Last August, after a big mudslide one of the cars was damaged and the Jungfraubahnen decided to change the two old cars in Sring 2008.
At the same time, the funicular was modernized by Garaventa. It will be reopened on April 26, 2008 with the official unveiling on May 15th.
The two new cars are named "Interlaken" and "Unterseen" which are the names of the councils where are located the bottom and the top stations.
Aujourd'hui, 13 mars 2008, les deux voitures du Harderbahn (Interlaken, Suisse) ont été remplacées par par deux toutes nouvelles, construites par Gangloff.
Déjà en septembre dernier, après la coulée de boue qui a sérieusement endommagée une des deux voitures, j'annonçais que les Jungfraubahnen avaient décidé ce renouvellement de matériel.
Par la même occasion, le funculaire est modernisé par Garaventa. La remise en service est prévue pour le 26 avril 2008 et l'inauguration officielle est, elle, prévue pour le 15 mai 2008.
Les voitures ont été baptisées "Interlaken" et "Unterseen" des noms des communes sur lesquelles se trouvent les gares basse et supérieure.
