It was completly renovated by Leitner with deux new cars from Sigma Composite.

Video of the old funicular / Vidéo de l’ancien funiculaire:

On this video from 2008, we can see that the old drawbridges are still there!
See my article about these drawbridges in my Funimag old issues:
https://www.funimag.com/funimag14/mendola01.htm

On the first video, we cannot see if the old drawbriges have been preserved after the complete renovation of the funicular.
But I am quite sure they are still there!
Thank you if you can confirm my intuition!

The first CycloCable® is displayed at “Velo-City 2009 Conférence” at Brussels between May 12th and 15th, 2009.
For this occasion a 20 meters and 10% gradient incline plane was built inside the hall where are done demonstrations of the CycloCable® and visitors are invited to try it.
On Thursday 14th, 2009 I was at TOUR & TAXIS at Brussels where is the show!).
