Le Stanserhorn-Bahn sera remis en service aujourd’hui 1er aoĂ»t 2009, jour de la fĂŞte nationale suisse!
Rappelons que le funiculaire est arrêté depuis le 15 juillet 2009. Ce jour là la voiture n°2 fut percutée par un camion au premier passage à niveau! La voiture, qui date de 1893, avait été très sérieusement endommagée. La chassis avait été emmené chez Garaventa à Thun pour y être vérifié. Quant à la structure en bois elle avait été jugée irrécupérable et a dû être entièrement reconstruite par la société Amstutz Holzbau de Stans qui avait déjà réalisé le restaurant Rondorama du sommet du Stanserhorn.
Ci dessous les photos de la reconstruction de la voiture n°2 chez Amstutz Holzbau. Elle sera remise en service telle quelle, c’est Ă dire couleur bois sans ĂŞtre repeinte en rouge.

The Stanserhorn-Bahn will be in operation again today August 1st, 2009, Swiss National Day!
The funicular is stopped since July 15 2009. That day the car #2 was hit by a lorry at the first level crossing. The 1893 oldtimer car seriously damaged. The chassis was taken to Garaventa at Thun to be examined. The wooden structure was badly dammaged. It has to be completely rebuilt by the company Amstutz Holzbau at Stans. That company also built the Rondorama restaurant at the top of the Stanserhorn.
