Grutas de Garcia, Mexico

It is the track of the old funicular to go to the famous Mexican caves, Grutas de Garcia near Monterey.
The funicular was replaced by an one cabin aerial cableway built by Doppelmayr and CWA in 2003.
Il s’agit des restes de la voie de l’ancien funiculaire des cĂ©lĂšbres grottes mexicaine de Grutas de Garcia prĂšs de Monterey. Le funiculaire a Ă©tĂ© remplacĂ© en 2003 par un tĂ©lĂ©phĂ©rique monocabine construit par Doppelmayr et CWA.

The funicular in the 60s. It was a two counterbalanced cabins funicular with a 3-4-3 track. Another interesting funicular which disappeared!!
Le funiculaire dans les annĂ©es 60. C’Ă©tait un funiculaire avec deux cabines contrebalancĂ©es et une voie de type 3-4-3. Encore un funiculaire des plus intĂ©ressants qui disparait!

A-Old funicular and new aerial cableway

New funicular at St. Regis Resort, Park City (Utah)

Actually Doppelmayr is building a new funicular for the St. Regis Resort at Park City (Utah, USA).

It will link the Snow Park building to the upper Deer Crest building.

The new private funicular is built by Doppelmayr.
It is composed of two parallel tracks with a length of 152 meters.
The two cars, built by Gangloff, will contain 15 persons each.
The first tests will start on next December but the opening will be at the opening of the St. Regis Resort… spring 2009.
