Rare photo of a train of two cars of the Tramway funiculaire de Belleville  cable car in Paris in 1920.
Recall that this tramway was a funicular tramway running with a mobile underground cable as the San Francisco cable cars. It connected the Republic Square at Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Belleville church (Jourdain metro) through the streets Faubourg du Temple and Rue de Belleville. It operated from 1891 to 1924.
The photo appears to have been taken beside the Square Frédérick Lemaître at the intersection of Rue du Faubourg du Temple with the Quai de Valmy.
