The current funicular Sunnegga Zermatt (Sunnegga Express) will be completely renovated in 2013 to be returned to service on 15 June 2013.
New cabins longer (30 meters) the current cabins accommodating 200 passengers in four compartments.

L’actuel funiculaire de Zermatt Sunnegga (Sunnegga Express) va être entièrement rénové au printemps 2013 pour être remis en service le 15 juin 2013.
De nouvelles cabines plus longues (30 mètres) que les cabines actuelles pouvant accueillir 200 passagers dans quatre compartiments.

Note at 0:50 and 2:40 the automatic closing of the two firewall doors just after the passage of the cabin just above the lower station and just downstream of the central siding.

If the new cars are 30 meters long, I guess the slope is pretty constant along the line.
