Que devient l’ancienne Ficelle de Lausanne?
On se souvient qu’en 2006, pour faire place au futur métro M2, elle avait été démantelée et le matériel roulant (10 véhicules) avait été transporté par route dans un entrepôt de TrackNet à Châtillens, non loin de Lausanne, pour attendre un éventuel acquéreur. La ville de Villard-de-Lans s’était portée volontaire pour récupérer ce matériel mais le projet de la station française fut très vite enterré. A ce jour, il ne reste plus que la Fondation des Cheseaux qui est toujours demandeur pour récupérer une partie des voitures mais elle a besoin de CHF 600’000 pour finaliser son projet.
En attendant, les voitures sont toujours entreposées à Châtillens où elles sont victimes de vandalisme.
Tout récemment j’ai eu l’occasion de me rendre à Châtillens… et j’ai pu constater qu’il n’y a que 5 véhicules alors que 10 ont été transportés en 2006. Où sont passées les 5 autres?
J’ai noté les voitures 111 (l’automotrice de Lausanne-Gare), 112 et les motrices 121, 122 et 123.

What has become the old ‘Ficelle’ of Lausanne ?
You remember in 2006 the old ‘Ficelle’ was removed to be replaced by the new Metro M2 and all the rolling stock (10 vehicles) was carried on road to a TrackNet warehouse at Châtillens near Lausanne to wait for a possible buyer. The Villard-de-Lans council wanted to get back the rolling stock but this project collapsed. Today this is only one projet to get back part of the rolling stock, it is the Fondation des Cheseaux but they need CHF 600’000 to complete the project.
By that time, the cars are still stored at Châtillens where they are  vandalized.
Few days ago I had the opportunity to go to Châtillens and I noticed that they are only five cars instead of the ten cars which were moved in 2006. Where are the five other cars?
I saw the cars 111 (self propelled car) , 112 and the motor cars 121, 122 and 123.
