The
bottom station "Université" was dug in
the middle of the Jardin Anglais. It can be accessed by
a stair and a lift. A large inclined plane was also dug
to access the bank of the Neuchâtel Lake. In 2002
the Expo.02 will take place just in front of this inclined
plane exit.
Rue
P.L. Coulon: the inclined plane which pass below the Avenue
du premier-Mars under the Jardin Anglais where is located
the bottom station.
In the center, above the main building the hotel Alpes
et Lac which hides the train station building.
On
both sides of the 'cage' there are 4 automatic doors corresponding
to the 4 compartments of a carriage.
On both sides of the track are the yellow electric contactors
wich supply the need for electricity to the carriages.
At the end of the track, one of the big yellow pulleys which
guides the cable to the engine room.

All the bottom station is lighted by the opening on the
top which is where the carriages were delivered
The
Fun'ambule can transport persons with motor disability
in the first compartment of the carriages because
of the Gare top station, only the first compartment
is at the floor level.

station
The
'Gare' top station is located in the basement of the Neuchatel
CFF train station.
The basement of the train station is also used as a transfert
corridor to access all the platforms. This is really very
convenient to catch the trains.

The

The gradient of the track is 6 % at the end of the line.

red carriage is waiting in the basement of the CFF train station.
On the left side, the 4 doors of the 'cage' and the 4 doors
of the carriage are open.
